EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
GRADUATE ASSISTANT WOMEN'S BASKETBALL COACH
Status: Full-Time, Graduate Assistant (two year position)
Start Date: August 2008
Specific Responsibilites (include, but are not limited to):
-Effectively recruit and retain qualified student-athletes
-Assist with all aspects of practice and game preparation, including individual player development, scouting, developing game plans, etc.
-Monitor and mentor student-athletes' academic endeavors.
-Assist with the development and implementation of fundraising activities.
-Assist with the planning and development of community service activities.
-Work with various campus constituents such as admissions, facilities and development.
-Assist the head coach with alumni and family relations activities.
-Maintain a working knowledge of all NCAA, ECAC and Freedom Conference rules and regulations.
-Serve as site administrator at various off-season games and events.
-Other duties as assigned by Head Coach, Athletics Department and Manhattanville College.
Required:
-Collegiate playing experience
-Bachelor's Degree
-Valid Driver's License
Preferred:
-Post player experience
-Previous coaching experience (camps included)
