Manhattanville Sports Medicine Staff
Scott McIver, MS, ATC - Head Athletic Trainer
Andrew Cornicello, MS, ATC - Assistant Athletic Trainer
Megan McKean, ATC - Graduate Assistant Trainer

As part of a complete allied health team, the goal of the Manhattanville Sports Medicine staff is to enhance the quality of care for the student-athletes while advancing the profession of athletic training. This is done in cooperation with local team physicians, the college’s health center, and various health care professionals within the community.

Manhattanville College Sports Medicine is privileged to be affiliated with some of the best physicians in the Westchester area. Our student athletes benefit from a close relationship, both professionally and geographically, with Plancher Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Head team physician Dr. Kevin Plancher works out of his office in Greenwich, Conn.

The main athletic training room and Sports Medicine offices are located on campus in the lower level of the Kennedy Gym. An off-campus site, located at Playland Ice Casino, provides Manhattanville Ice Hockey with a facility once utilized by the New York Rangers. Visiting Sports Medicine staff will also have access to a training room during all games.

In order to help provide the most specific medical care possible to Manhattanville student-athletes, the Sports Medicine department, in compliance with NCAA guidelines, requires each student-athlete to complete and return a preseason packet before each school year. These packets will be mailed out over the summer and are to be returned to our office by August 1st. The completed packet must be on file prior to a student-athlete’s participation in intercollegiate athletics.
