CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The ECAC East Conference released its' weekly awards for the 10th week of the college hockey season. Manhattanville junior goalkeeper
Emy Cote (Saint-Hubert, Quebec/Dawson College) was named Goalie of the Week for her efforts in a pair of Valiant victories over Saint Anselm and UMass-Boston this past weekend.
On Friday, Cote allowed one goal to the Hawks while stopping 18 shots en route to her third win of the season. She followed that performance up with a 21 save effort in a 4-1 victory on Saturday afternoon over the Beacons of UMass-Boston.
For her career Cote has collected 24 wins in 48 career games. While this season she has collected a total of 4-6-2 record while holding opponents to a 2.53 goals against average while stopping 89.9% of the shots sent her way.
The Valiants will be back in action when they host Castleton State on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. from the Playland Ice Casino in Rye, N.Y. Coverage of the game will be available on GoValiants.TV beginning at approximately 6:50 p.m.
